O ator Wagner Moura foi anunciado como indicado à 31ª edição do Critics Choice Awards nesta sexta-feira, 5. A cerimônia está prevista para o dia 4 de janeiro de 2026 e será apresentada por Chelsea Handler.

Wagner Moura recebeu duas indicações ao prêmio: uma na categoria de Melhor Ator pelo trabalho em O Agente Secreto e outra como Melhor Ator Coadjuvante em Série Limitada, pela série Ladrões de Drogas.

Na categoria Melhor Ator, o brasileiro disputa a estatueta com Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Leonardo DiCaprio (Uma Batalha Após a Outra), Michael B. Jordan (Pecadores) e Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon). Já por Melhor Ator Coadjuvante, os outros indicados são Owen Cooper (Adolescência), Nick Offerman (Death by Lightning), Michael Peña (All Her Fault), Ashley Walters (Adolescência) e Ramy Youssef (Mountainhead).

Além de Wagner Moura, o filme O Agente Secreto também recebeu sua própria nomeação. O longa-metragem do cineasta Kleber Mendonça Filho foi indicado a Melhor Filme de Língua Não Inglesa e concorre ao título com Foi Apenas um Acidente, A Garota Canhota, No Other Choice, Sirat e Belén.

O Critics Choice é organizado pela Associação dos Críticos de Cinema (BFCA) dos Estados Unidos. A cerimônia é considerada um termômetro para o Oscar 2026, que está marcado para 15 de março.
