O pontapé da Copa do Mundo de 2026 foi dado na tarde desta quinta-feira (11), no Estádio Azteca, no México. A Cerimônia de abertura do Mundial contou com várias apresentações, entre elas: Maná, Andrea Bocelli e Shakira, trazendo a música oficial da competição: Dai dai.
Os shows no gramado começou com coreografias exaltando a cultura mexicana, com trajes típicos do país. Maná chegou cantando o clássico "Oye mi amor", além das apresentações do cantor pop venezuelano Danny Ocean, grupo Los Ángeles Azules, J Balvin e Belinda.
Shakira e Burna Boy cantaram a música 'Dai Dai', canção oficial da Copa do Mundo. Muitos dançarinos se apresentaram com os cantores, mostrando os passos da coreografia.

PONTAPÉ INICIAL PARA A COPA
Depois das apresentações, a Copa começou oficialmente com o início da partida entre México e África do Sul, abrindo o Mundial, que em 2026 acontece em três países: México, Estados Unidos e Canadá.
