A cantora Demi Lovato publicou um relato sobre sua viagem a Israel em seu Instagram, mostrando o momento de seu batismo no Rio Jordão, na última terça-feira, 1º.

"Tem algo absolutamente mágico sobre Israel. Eu nunca senti um senso de espiritualidade ou uma conexão com Deus tão grandes... Algo que eu estava sentindo falta há alguns anos. A espiritualidade é muito importante para mim", elogiou a cantora.

Demi Lovato também falou sobre a importância da viagem: "Sou uma cantora americana. Fui criada no cristianismo e tenho ancestrais judeus. Quando me ofereceram uma oportunidade incrível para visitar os lugares sobre os quais eu li na Bíblia enquanto crescia, eu disse 'sim'".

"Fui batizada no Rio Jordão - o mesmo lugar em que Jesus Cristo foi batizado. Eu nunca me senti tão renovada na minha vida", concluiu.
