Jamaicana é eleita Miss Mundo 2019; brasileira fica no Top5

A jamaicana Toni-Ann Singh foi eleita a vencedora do concurso Miss Mundo 2019 realizado neste sábado (14). Durante a cerimônia, ela chamou atenção por cantar uma música de Whitney Houston.

A representante brasileira no concurso foi Elis Miele, do Espírito Santo, eleita Miss Brasil Mundo em setembro.

A brasileira ficou entre as cinco melhores colocadas do Miss Mundo 2019, junto com a vencedora, Miss Jamaica, a 2ª colocada, Miss França, a 3ª colocada, Miss Índia, e a Miss Nigéria.

"Meu coração esté repleto de amor e gratidão. Muito obrigada por acreditarem em mim. Vocês me levaram a acreditar em mim mesma", comemorou a nova Miss Mundo, Toni-Ann Singh.

O Miss Mundo também divulgou as participantes em posição de destaque de algumas regiões do planeta. Na Oceania, a Miss Mundo Ilhas Cook, na Europa, a Miss Mundo França, na Ásia, a Miss Mundo Índia e, no Caribe, a Miss Mundo Trinidad Tobago.
